As most are aware, The Journal relocated earlier this summer from our long-serving location on W. King Street to Old Courthouse Square. As with any move of such magnitude, it takes a bit of time to get settled and organized, but we believe we have finally made it. With that said, we wish to welcome the public to an open house at our new offices located at 1351 Edwin Miller Blvd. The open house is set for Tuesday, Sept. 10 between the hours of noon and 4 p.m.
We are excited to have the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m. that day.
All of our staff will be on hand to greet members of the public. We are excited to share our space with you to let you see where “it all happens” as we work to gather the content for your daily newspaper. While the days of printing presses running in Martinsburg have passed us by, we do have a beautiful newsroom and advertising center we are proud to show off so we encourage you to come over and join us for some light refreshments.
