CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals is scheduled to hear the arguments on its regularly-scheduled docket for the first time since federal attorneys and state officials and lawmakers accused justices on the court of misconduct in office.
There are six cases on the court’s docket beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning, and a court comprising two elected justices, two appointed justices and one temporary justice will hear arguments in those cases.
Since the court last convened in its regularly scheduled term, two justices have left the court and one has been suspended amid impeachment proceedings in the West Virginia Legislature and a federal investigation.
