CHARLESTON, W.Va. — During its monthly routine business meeting, the West Virginia Board of Education discussed five proposed policies that it then placed in a public comment period.
According to a release from the state Department of Education, the policies now available for public comment are:
— Policy 2322, West Virginia System of Support and Accountability: The policy is recommended for repeal and replacement to better align with current research related to effective schools, give a clarified definition of the support and accountability system and define recognition programs for academic success and school quality.
