West Virginia trout stocking season is underway

MARTINSBURG, W.Va.  — The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources 2019 trout stocking season started Tuesday with streams and creeks in Berkeley and Jefferson counties scheduled to be stocked.

According to a news release announcing the start of the stocking season, Big Bullskin Run and Rocky Marsh Run in Jefferson County, and Middle Creek and Mill Creek in Berkeley County will be stocked one time in January, two times in February and one time each week March through May.

Evitts Run in Jefferson County and Opequon Creek in Berkeley County will be stocked one time in January twice in February and once a week March through May and then once two weeks after Columbus Day.
