WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — Just two days ahead of his third State of the State Address, Gov. Jim Justice announced that he has decided to seek a second term in office.
“I’m announcing officially right now my candidacy to run to be re-elected as your governor in 2020,” Justice proclaimed Monday morning at the conclusion of a 30-minute campaign event in the White Sulphur Springs Civic Center.
He said he chose the former high school gymnasium as the site for the announcement because “This is us. This is West Virginia. This is America.”
