HUNTINGTON — In the ER, Erin Wellman moves fast; on the pageant stage, she moves with grace.
Wellman, 23, is the new Miss West Virginia USA, crowned July 27. She is from Mercer County and a 2020 graduate of Princeton Senior High School.
“This is just all such a dream come true. I love West Virginia and I’m so excited to serve and be present this year,” Wellman said. “I plan to visit a lot of schools and a lot of different fundraisers and community events and just be present and be a positive role model for young people in our state.”
She recently graduated from Marshall University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She is a certified peer mentor and graduate of the MU Honors College.
