Super Bowl brings West Virginia friends and strangers together

CLARKSBURG, W.Va.  — As the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots face off in the Super Bowl, hundreds of residents came together with family and friends to watch the NFL championship game.

Jessica Engles, a Buckhannon resident, said she thought the event was important because it brings people together.

“It also showcases talent and competition,” she said. “I’m rooting for the Eagles, because I hate the Patriots.”
