Southern West Virginia’s 46th annual King Coal Festival set for Saturday

The annual King Coal Festival starts Saturday, but there are several events leading up to the weekend.

WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — The Action in Mingo (AIM) organization will host the 46th annual King Coal Festival on Saturday with various events leading up to the festival.

This year’s festival is expected to be loads of fun, according to AIM President Jada Hunter. An AIM information booth will be available at the corner of Logan Street and Second Avenue.

Before Saturday comes, however, other events are on tap.
