BECKLEY, W.Va. — Aides said Lara Trump and Carol Miller were blocked by inclement weather in Washington, D.C.

Lara Trump, President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, and Carol Miller, Republican candidate for Congress in the Third District, were scheduled to appear at the Miller family’s South Charleston auto dealership, Dutch Miller Kia, last month. Neither showed up.

GOP staffers said Secret Service was refusing to let Miller leave Yeager Airport in Charleston and that she also couldn’t answer questions by phone.
