HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The battle of the bots returns to Huntington on Saturday, Oct. 13, as the Robert C. Byrd Institute hosts a FIRST Lego League (FLL) Robotics Scrimmage for 9- to 14-year-old students.
Organized teams will participate in the informal competition in the areas of robot design, core values, research project and table game, all of which center on this year’s FLL Mission “Into Orbit,” a space-related challenge.
The scrimmage, designed to familiarize teams with various aspects of official FLL competition, will run from 9 a.m. to noon and is open to all teams based in West Virginia.
