MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Opioid recovery efforts in the quad state region have been ramped up in the past three years with recovery groups now taking a multi-level approach toward treating opioid addiction.
Substance recovery centers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia have developed specialized programs to tackle the addiction recovery process from several different angles, according to state officials, who spoke at the 29th Annual Quad-State Legislative Conference in Martinsburg Thursday.
The annual conference brings together state legislators from along the I-81 corridor of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
