On WV gun control, expert and lawmaker both point to gender

BECKLEY, W.Va. — After a young man killed 14 students and three staff members at a Florida high school earlier this year, the Republican-led state passed several new gun laws.

But according to a new review by the Associated Press, most states didn’t follow suit.

West Virginia passed four new gun laws in 2018, all aimed at loosening gun restrictions, according to the Associated Press review.
