WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — During Winter Storm Blair over the last week, many Mingo County Public Service District customers were without water for an extended period.
“Due to the inclement weather and the conditions of the Tug River we are currently unable to effectively treat the water,” the district said in one of the initial statements. “For that reason we are not pumping water out to our customers.”
This social media post led to 326 comments and 427 shares with comments from customers mostly voicing their displeasure of the service.
