WHEELING, W.Va. — West Virginia’s school superintendents have selected Ohio County Schools Superintendent Kim Miller to lead them for the next year, as Miller will serve as president of the West Virginia Association of School Administrators for the 2024-2025 school year.
“It’s an honor to represent other administrators throughout West Virginia,” she said. “I look forward to serving them to my fullest potential, and to serving my colleagues throughout the state.”
The purpose of the WVASA and its members is to support current and aspiring public school administrators in West Virginia.
The organization advises state lawmakers while advocating for public education policy, according to Miller.
The WVASA also assists with professional networking and provides training for new administrators.
“We hold meetings, and assist with staff development,” she said. “We also work with legislators on education code and policy to see that it best meets the needs of the state.
