HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Marshall University’s College of Education and Professional Development is sponsoring the third annual Students Using their Powers to Engage in Reading Day Sept. 28 to celebrate fluency.
Students from the surrounding area will be able to experience educational games and meet characters from popular children’s shows as well as spend time with the Thundering Herd basketball team, cheerleaders and Marco.
President Gilbert started S.U.P.E.R. Day two years ago, and he will be reading to the attending children this year.
