NEW MARTINSVILLE, W.Va. — Marble King will be celebrating its 75th anniversary on Nov. 14-15 at the Parlor on Main, located at 303 Main Street, New Martinsville.
It will begin with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Exhibit times will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A “Collectors Corner” will be held from 2-4 p.m. each day. This will include a question and answer session and many marble stories.
The historical exhibit will feature marbles and memorabilia from different decades beginning with the 1940’s to present. Special items commemorating the 75th anniversary will be available. The public is encouraged to attend and the event is free.
In 2019, Marble King represented the state of West Virginia at the White House during a Made in America event. Marble King is the last remaining marble manufacturer in the United States and is proud to be a West Virginia based manufacturing company.
