Josh Holstein, 23, elected chairman of West Virginia GOP

MORGANTOWN (WV News) — A 23-year-old member of the West Virginia House of Delegates has been elected to lead the state Republican Party.

Del. Josh Holstein, R-Boone, was elected chairman of the West Virginia GOP during the party’s summer meeting in Morgantown on Saturday.

“I am eager to begin the necessary work to grow our party, communicate our message, and continue winning elections up and down the ballot. Under the leadership of President Trump and with the support of our Republican elected officials, we will continue delivering for the working men and women of West Virginia,” Holstein said in a statement.
