VIENNA, W.Va. — “On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country,” the Scout oath.

The Boy Scouts program has been changing both nationally and locally, but its roots remain the same.

The nation has seen the acceptance of girls into Boy Scouts, while locally instead of councils, the Scouts have banded into districts.
