CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Like an early trick-or-treat, Charleston’s FestivALL Fall creeps in this weekend with a range of events, activities and installations to make the spooky season a little more fun.
Officially, FestivALL fall snuck in Wednesday night with Jeff Shirley’s “Three Things” speaker series, but there are more events Thursday.
Downtown, there’s the October edition of ArtWalk from 5 to 7 p.m. and the Derek Kirk Scholarship concert at Black Sheep Burritos and Brews on Quarrier Street beginning at 5 p.m. The concert, honoring the late, local musician, features performances by the Voodoo Katz, the Bob Thompson Unit, the Velvet Brothers and more.
