ELKINS, W.Va. — The Mountain State Forest Festival will be hosting a number of marching bands from across the state for the festival’s Band Show and Grand Feature Parade next month.
Jeff Skidmore, MSFF assistant director, said the festival will be hosting 27 bands, adding the Oct. 6 band show will be the largest “Tournament of Bands” show in the state this marching season.
“The Mountain State Forest Festival’s show is the largest show in the state this year and also was last year,” he said. “The show will be put on by the Tournament of Bands and it is the biggest show that Chapter 13 has.”
