On Monday, Oct. 7, WVU — the state’s only R1, or very high research, university — will present several researchers discussing various aspects of the West Virginia economy.

Topics range from how arts can be a key to economic growth to cybersecurity opportunities to regional growth to rare earth elements to the roles of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Javier Reyes, Milan Puskar Dean of the John Chambers College of Business and Economics and vice president of Start-up West Virginia, will be the keynote speaker.
