Nearly 50 science teachers from across West Virginia to attend
Charleston, W.Va. – The Independent Oil and Gas Association of West Virginia (IOGAWV) is hosting its inaugural Science Teacher Education Workshop Wednesday, June 20, at the Embassy Suites in Charleston. Nearly 50 middle and high school science teachers will be attending
The goal of the workshop is to help foster energy education by connecting science teachers to the energy industry. All registered teachers are invited to attend a dinner reception at the Clay Center the evening of Tuesday, June 19, with the workshop kicking off Wednesday morning. During the workshop, each teacher will participate in oil and gas-related hands-on activities and receive a variety of resources and materials to take back to their classroom. They also will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with industry professionals.
