Oak Hill — Summer nights are about to get a whole lot more exciting at ACE Adventure Waterpark as the resort hosts two unforgettable after-dark experiences designed for thrill-seekers, music lovers and families looking for a unique way to spend a Saturday night.
The fun begins Saturday, July 18th, with the Waterpark DJ Dance Party, featuring DJ Strizy spinning high-energy music from the patio stage as guests dance on the beach and enjoy an unforgettable night swim under the lights. This one-night-only event transforms the five-acre waterpark into the region’s hottest summer party, complete with illuminated attractions, waterfront vibes and an electric atmosphere.
The excitement continues the following weekend on Saturday, July 25th, when the waterpark hosts its fan-favorite Jaws on the Lake event. Guests are invited to float in the water while watching Steven Spielberg’s iconic thriller Jaws on a giant outdoor screen. The evening begins with open swimming at 8:00 p.m., followed by the movie at 9:00 p.m. While there may not be any sharks lurking beneath the surface of the lake, the suspense of watching the classic film while floating in the dark creates an experience unlike any other.
“These events have become summertime traditions at ACE,” said Chris Colin, Special Events Coordinator at ACE Adventure Resort. “Whether you’re dancing in the water with friends or floating through Jaws wondering what’s beneath your tube, these are experiences you simply can’t recreate anywhere else. We love giving our guests unique reasons to make memories in the New River Gorge.”
The Waterpark DJ Dance Party is open to guests 16 and older while Jaws onthe Lake is open to guests of all ages and provide the perfect opportunity to enjoy ACE Adventure Waterpark after sunset. In addition to the floating obstacle course, giant inflatable slides, zip lines, climbing towers and beach area, guests can enjoy food and drinks throughout the evening.
