Beckley— WV Dis(EN)Abled, Inc., a newly formed nonprofit dedicated to improving accessibility for people with physical disabilities across Southern West Virginia, will hold a press conference on Wednesday to announce the launch of its first regional program.
The initiative will focus on removing everyday barriers, expanding access to essential services, and supporting individuals with mobility‑related disabilities across Raleigh, Fayette, Mercer, Summers, Monroe, Greenbrier, Wyoming, McDowell, Mingo, Logan, and Boone Counties.
“Accessibility shouldn’t depend on your income or ZIP code,” said Curtis Yearego, Founder and Executive Director. “This program is the first step toward making Southern West Virginia one of the most accessible regions in the nation.”
The press conference will outline the program’s scope, early partnerships, and the organization’s phased rollout plan.
