Buffalo’s Annual All-Horse Parade: More Than One Hundred Horses Display Their Beauty

BUFFALO, W.Va. — The Buffalo All-Horse Parade held this last Saturday is more than a parade. The event is part of a hospice care fundraising effort with 100% of entry fees donated to HospiceCare of WV. More than one hundred horses took part in the parade.

The events of the day included a 5k Walk/Run, music by bluegrass band Ridgetop Grass, sale of Amish fried pies, popcorn, T-shirts, and a meal meal featuring Wedding Chicken, mashed potatoes, noodles, dessert and drink with all proceeds going to HospiceCare.

The final event of the day was a Catfish Tournament which ended at midnight at the Buffalo Boat Dock.
