CHARLES TOWN — The Jefferson County Commission on Thursday appointed new members to the Jefferson County Development Authority (JCDA) after dismantling the board during a previous meeting.
Following several interviews, the commission voted to appoint Jill Upson, Todd Wilt, Heather McIntyre, Dan Casto, Mara Bauserman, David Lutman, Raymond Goodrich, Kathryn Skinner, Nick Russo and Tyler Tummolo as members of the JCDA.
Before the interviews even began, several citizens shared their concerns over removing the JCDA members and some of the interviewees. During public comment, citizen Christine Marshall shared her concern, pointing out two applicants who could have a conflict of interest.
