SNOWSHOE, W.Va. — The Snowshoe Foundation is getting set for this year’s return of Treasure on the Mountain, which has now expanded to activities on both Friday and Saturday, creating a full weekend of prizes, music, food, and community.
This year’s Treasure on the Mountain kicks off on Friday, August 1, 2025, with the live drawing of the Progressive 50/50 Raffle. The raffle pool has already surpassed $50,000 and continues to grow. Last year’s winner took home over $40,000 in cash, and this year’s payout could be even bigger.
The fun continues on Saturday, August 2, with the signature main raffle, awarding $350,000 worth of high-value prizes, plus live entertainment, food from 18 local partners, side raffle games, and more.
“It’s incredible to see this event grow every year—not just in size, but in its impact,” said Dave Black, Executive Director of the Snowshoe Foundation. “This is more than just a raffle. It’s a celebration of community and generosity that directly benefits our entire region.”
As the Snowshoe Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser, Treasure on the Mountain helps raise nearly half a million dollars annually for grants, scholarships, and vital support for children, families, and nonprofits across Pocahontas, Randolph, and Webster counties.
The addition of a Friday night concert, sponsored by Davis Trust, creates a full weekend experience. Live music by Savannah Overstreet and Jason Hall will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Snowshoe Village, followed by the drawing of the Progressive 50/50 raffle winner at 8:00 p.m.
“The support we receive from this event is overwhelming,” said Black. “Every ticket purchased helps us fund scholarships, health programs, and community projects that change lives. That’s the real treasure.”
Tickets are available for purchase online at the Snowshoe Foundation’s website. A limited number of physical tickets can be obtained through local partners. Visit SnowshoeFoundation.org or contact local sales partners to purchase your tickets. Tickets are not guaranteed to be available at the gate.
Ticketholders do not need to be present at Treasure on the Mountain 2025 to win. Winners will be announced via the Snowshoe Foundation website and on social media.
