MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The U.S. House Ethics Committee has closed its inquiry into alleged misspending of campaign funds by Rep. Alex Mooney – West Virginia’s 2nd District Congressman – and cleared him of any wrongdoing, the committee announced on Monday.
