A red Chevrolet pickup truck inadvertently drove into Rexrode Barber Shop on Railroad Avenue Thursday morning. Shop owner Gary ‘Doc’ Rexrode and barber Mary Ann Barkley were inside the business at the time but neither they or the driver were injured in the incident. It is believed the driver inadvertently stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake, officials said. The Elkins Police Department, Elkins Fire Department and Randolph County EMS responded to the scene.
