HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — All season, Marshall’s football team has dominated the competition in an effort to catch the attention of national voters and earn a spot in the top 25 rankings, as well as the “New Year’s 6” Bowls at season’s end.
That effort is getting ready to get a major boost from the nation’s most recognizable sports network.
Film crews from ESPN spent the entire day with Marshall’s football team on Wednesday for an upcoming 30-minute All-Access segment profiling the team and its 2014 success.
The 30-minute segment is scheduled to air twice on Tuesday on ESPNU — once at 6 p.m. and once at 11:30 p.m.
“This is something that you dream of as a kid,” Marshall center Chris Jasperse said.
