CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Wild, Wonderful West Virginia today announced the names of the black bears, Courage and Pride, -featured on the Rose Parade float showcasing Wild, Wonderful West Virginia.

The team at Wild, Wonderful West Virginia thanks everyone who submitted nominations via Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.  The final names were selected by the float riders, former patients of WVU Medicine Children’s.

The theme for the 127th Rose Parade is “Find Your Adventure.” The WVU Medicine Children’s Float celebrates the Mountain State’s four seasons and abundant recreational opportunities–including whitewater rafting, golfing, biking, fishing, hiking, skiing and snowboarding.
