Final round of West Virginia vaccine sweepstakes winners announced

CHARLESTON, W.Va. —  Tuesday, Gov. Jim Justice announced some of the winners of dozens of prizes  as part of the  final prize giveaway of the “Do it for Babydog: Save a life, Change your life” Vaccination Sweepstakes.

Wally Board, of Spencer, was presented with the grand prize of the sweepstakes, a check in the amount of $1,588,000. Kara Waldeck, of Charles Town, won $588,000.

Paul Swartz,  of Beckley, and Megan Landsberg, of Vienna,  won    custom-outfitted trucks.

Cheylan Cummings, of Gary, and Ashley Goots, of Bridgeport, were named as the winners of two full four-year scholarships to any public institution in the state.

Locally, Jessica Farley, of Reedsville, took home a lifetime hunting license, while Christopher Rozycki, of Morgantown, was the lucky winner of a custom hunting rifle…
