With the West Virginia primary election now less than a month away, area residents need to start mulling over the plethora of candidates on the ballot, and their respective campaign themes and promises.
It’s also imperative that you double check your voter registration status. If you aren’t currently registered to vote, the deadline to do so is Tuesday, April 17.
This is a primary election, so those voters affiliated with the four major political parties recognized by the state – Republican, Democratic, Libertarian or Mountain – must vote within their registered party or on a non-partisan ballot.
