FAIRMONT, W.Va. — We are overwhelmingly proud of our West Virginia home and its people.
Born from war, we are a resilient people and have been from the beginning. When something happens, whether it be a natural disaster or some other kind of emergency, we aren’t ones who give up. We pick ourselves up again and start moving forward. And more importantly, our neighbors roll up their sleeves and help us out during our worst times.
It has not surprised us at all that the entire state of West Virginia as well as some of our natives who have moved on to lives and careers in other states have banded together to come to the assistance of those in need after the recent flooding in the southern part of the state…
