Businesses affected by flood need state’s help

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginians really know how to pull together. Even though it’s only been three weeks since massive flooding destroyed and damaged homes and businesses in several areas, many homeowners are well into the long, hard road of rebuilding their lives thanks to generous donations of supplies, food, money and other goods that have poured in from across the state and nation.

For many, having access to those necessities has been a huge step in starting over.

But for many business owners, getting back on their feet is even more difficult…
