BLUEFIELD, W.Va. — For those who are struggling to recover from the chains of addiction, the path to freedom, and a life free of drugs and alcohol, is often a journey.
It’s no secret that more beds, and additional long-term recovery programs, are needed in our region to help those who are struggling with addiction to drugs. As the opioid epidemic has affected those of all ages and all income levels. One long-term treatment center in the area, the Four Seasons Recovery Center, is currently working with 58 clients. Another 20 have already completed the program.
There is a waiting list for additional clients to enter the Four Seasons Recovery program, which is not surprising given the rampant nature of the prescription drug-abuse epidemic in the area…
