FAIRMONT, W.Va. — They always say, “Once a Mountaineer, always a Mountaineer,” and for one artist, country roads have led him home.

Brad Paisley will be coming back to the Mountain State on Jan. 16 and 17 to kick off his Country Nation World Tour.

Paisley is a Glen Dale native and wanted to do something special for his home state. Not only will he be performing in Morgantown for two nights, but this is the first stop on the 2015 tour.

Kristie Stewart-Gale, marketing/advertising manager at West Virginia University Arts & Entertainment, said it is an honor to be the first stop on the tour, and that’s something people normally don’t see in Morgantown.

“We are thrilled. Normally Morgantown isn’t the first stop on a tour. Normally a tour kicks off at a much bigger city. You don’t normally see a tour of this magnitude start in Morgantown,” said Stewart-Gale.

The concert is not sold out, so there is still time to purchase tickets…
