HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Two education administrators working in Mississippi and another from Oregon have been named as the three finalists to become the next president at Marshall University.
Presidential Search Committee Chairman Michael Sellards announced in a press release the names of the finalists as well as the schedules for their visits to campus that will take place from Tuesday, Oct. 13 to Thursday, Oct. 16.
The three finalists are Dr. Jerome A. Gilbert, provost and executive vice president of Mississippi State University; Dr. Christopher G. Maples, president of Oregon Institute of Technology; and Dr. Denis A. Wiesenburg, professor of marine science and former provost/vice president for academic affairs of the University of Southern Mississippi.
