CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A major federal legislative package to tackle the opioid and heroin problem here and around the country has been sent to President Barrack Obama’s desk for his signature.
The bipartisan package, called the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA), was passed by the House last week and the Senate Wednesday night.
