Marshall J school seeks Hall of Fame nominations

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Boasting such names as Marvin Stone, Ernie Salvatore, Joe Johns, Estelle Belanger, Jim Comstock and even pioneer television comedian Soupy Sales in its Hall of Fame, Marshall University’s W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications is seeking nominations for its upcoming induction class, according to a press release from the university.

“While our Hall of Fame has a distinguished collection of graduates who have achieved great success with their education in journalism and mass communications, we want to announce the acceptance of nominations for the 2016 inductions, which will take place at a ceremony in mid-April,” SOJMC Director Janet Dooley said.
