Miss West Virginia 2014 Paige Madden crowns this year’s winner Chelsea Malone, formerly Miss Wheeling. Malone was crowned after the Miss West Virginia competition held on Wednesday evening at the Metropolitan Theater in Morgantown.
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The new Miss West Virginia and Miss West Virginia’s Outstanding Teen have been selected.
Chelsea Malone was named Miss West Virginia. Malone came into the contest as Miss Wheeling.
Braelynn Neely was named the new Miss West Virginia’s Outstanding Teen. Neely came into the contest as Miss University’s Outstanding Teen.
The Miss West Virginia pageants were held Wednesday evening at the Metropolitan Theatre in Morgantown.
The contestants competed in fitness, evening wear, on-stage question and talent competitions. Between the competitions, entertainment was provided by the contestants.
Leah Summers, the executive director of the Miss West Virginia Scholarship Organization, explained the organization is part of the Miss America Program.
