POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — Mothman is celebrated in many forms, including the art form of comic books.

Chad Lambert, creator of the award-winning Point Pleasant comic book series about the mothman folklore of West Virginia, will be signing copies of his latest work from noon to 3 p.m. June 1 at the Mothman Museum.

Lambert’s best-known work is “Return to Point Pleasant,” a comic book about the paranormal history of the town. It is the culmination of all of Lambert’s mothman comic book writings from 2004-09, collected in a deluxe, full-color book with 30 pages of new material. Most of the new book takes place in modern-day Point Pleasant and features all the town hotspots: everything from Tu-Endie-Wei State Park to Harris Steak House.
