BECKLEY, W.Va. — Fayetteville gets the national spotlight as New River Gorge Bridge Walk is named one of 14 “Weird and Wonderful Southern Pit Stops” in Garden & Gun magazine’s newest edition.

The June/July edition hits the stands today, touting a 14-page story on southern road trips. The spread outlines ideas for summer getaways including retro hotels, coastal drives, independent book stores, great food and “Sites to Behold: Fourteen Weird and Wonderful Southern Pit Stops.”
