CHARLESTON — A bill to combat human trafficking in West Virginia began its third round through the Legislature on Feb. 15, receiving the unanimous approval of the House Judiciary Committee.
The bill explains that trafficking involves recruiting, transporting and harboring, among other actions, a person for forced labor or sexual servitude.
The bill now goes to the full House for three readings and passage.
