FAIRMONT, W.Va. — As 98-year-old Renata Julian gets one foot over a motorcycle seat, a smile comes to her face.
That smile comes as she is about to ride a motorcycle for the first time in her life.
Thanks to a fellow church member, Chris Smith, Julian, also known as Lilly, was able to scratch riding a motorcycle off her bucket list over the weekend.
Julian said it was something she had been wanting to do.
“I had always thought it would be fun to ride a motorcycle,” she said.
A few months ago, after hearing Julian had never been on a motorcycle, Smith offered to take her for a ride on his Harley-Davidson.
After waiting patiently for the right weather, Friday afternoon came, and by the evening, Julian would be on a motorcycle…
