Way to go, Morgan Messenger

Morgan County weekly turns 120 on Saturday

This Saturday, November 16, marks 120 years since the first issue of The Morgan Messenger. Founded by S.S. Buzzerd, the paper was born after a fire burned down the offices and print shop of The Morgan Mercury where Buzzerd worked.

Find the paper’s website at http://www.morganmessenger.com/news/2013-11-13/Front_Page.

The Morgan Messenger also has a vibrant Facebook page at http://tinyurl.com/l6ss2c3.

Its readers take the paper with them as they travel far and wide and send home photos to prove it.

Pat and Ed Steers delivered The Morgan Messenger to the Dublin Writer’s Museum when they visited Ireland’s capital city during a British Isles tour in June.
