BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Share Our Soles is Dominion’s effort to support our friends and neighbors in West Virginia following the devastating floods on June 23.
Thousands of children in Southern West Virginia who were impacted by flooding escaped with only the clothes on their backs and the shoes on their feet.
Because most lost everything, they had to continue to wear their only pair of shoes through all aspects of flood recovery and for some, will have to continue wearing those same pair of shoes to school.
More than 2,000 pairs of shoes have been brought to the Dominion Transmission headquarters in Bridgeport so far as part of a process to help out.
It’s anticipated another thousand or more shoes will arrive from other locations…
