WHEELING, W.Va. — A new partnership has been formed to develop technology for Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack’s launch this fall of sports betting.
Officials of Delaware North, the casino’s owner, said Wednesday it has partnered with Miomni Gaming to provide turnkey retail and mobile sports wagering services.
The two companies will focus first on launching services this fall for Delaware North’s two West Virginia casinos, Wheeling Island and Mardi Gras Casino & Resort near Charleston. An exact starting date was not released.
