CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Now the only undecided Democratic senator, Joe Manchin still hasn’t said whether he will vote to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump’s pick for the United States Supreme Court.
Senator Shelley Moore Capito, R- W.Va., meanwhile continues to say she supports the nomination.
Republican and Democratic senators took turns Thursday with a single copy of a more than 1,000-page FBI report into sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh. One key undecided senator, Republican Jeff Flake of Arizona, and other Republican senators, told reporters the one-week investigation had found no corroborating evidence.
