Media Advisory: U.S. Rep. Jenkins set conference call today on Green Bank Observatory, flood recovery, Comey hearing

 

WASHINGTON – At 3 p.m. TODAY, Thursday, June 8, U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) will hold a conference with West Virginia reporters to discuss several important issues:

  • Wednesday’s House Appropriations Committee subcommittee hearing, where National Science Foundation Director France Cordova said the national security committee represents a potential partner with the Green Bank Observatory,
  • Thursday’s Appropriations hearing with Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, where Rep. Jenkins will ask him about flood recovery plans in West Virginia, including the White Sulphur Springs National Fish Hatchery,
  • Thursday’s Senate hearing with James Comey.
